Sail Away cocktails anyone ...

Sail Away Port Canaveral Feb 6, 2010 ...

Our sail away from Port Canaveral was wonderful (especially when our embarkation took all of 10 minutes from the time we left our shuttle till we arrived at our stateroom) ... all along the shipping channel people were waving and cheering (in the bars, restaurants, parks, and parking lots) ... it made the departure much more fun and exciting ...

Our last view of the US mainland was a beautiful park at the northern tip of Cocoa Beach with at least a hundred people lined along the shore and along the railing of the pier that extended out in to the Atlantic Ocean ... the view of Cocoa Beach from the ship was spectacular as well ...
