Roatan, Bay Islands Honduras ... simply spectacular ... an island untouched until now ... Carnival has build a multi-million dollar cruise port here ... a beautiful location on a beautiful island ... home to the second largest barrier reef in the world after the Great Barrier Reef down under ... the shops, bars and restaurants are are the dock ... you can either walk or take a quad ski lift chair over to the gorgeous beach ... the entire area is called Mahogany Bay due to the large mahogany forests found on the island and the mainland ... the beach was wonderful and the water warm and refreshing ... I purchased a covered multi-wood bowl primarily made of mahogany for a mere $30 US ... at home this purchase would be nearer $100.00 ... and I think much nicer than a tshirt ...
